Data Access and Ownership
Ownership of Data
At the Mr Black App, we respect and recognize that our customers retain full ownership of all data they input into our Service (the “Customer Data”). We do not claim any ownership rights over Customer Data. Customers remain the sole and exclusive owners of any information they upload, submit, or generate within the Service, and we treat all Customer Data as confidential and proprietary to our customers.
Access to Data
Access to Customer Data is restricted to authorized personnel and is only granted as necessary to perform essential functions of the Service, including technical support, account management, and improving service functionality. Our employees and third-party service providers are bound by strict confidentiality obligations, and all access is logged and monitored to ensure accountability.
User Rights to Access Data
Customers have the right to access, view, and manage their data at any time through their account settings or by contacting our support team. You may also request additional details about your stored data, such as specific pieces of information or copies of data stored in our systems. For enterprise accounts, this access may also be delegated to authorized account representatives or administrators, per client-defined role permissions.
Data Portability
To support data portability and accessibility, the Mr Black App provides tools and options within the Service that allow customers to export or download their data in commonly used, machine-readable formats. This ensures that customers can easily transfer their data if they choose to discontinue use of our Service or transition to another provider.
Data Deletion
Upon account termination or at the customer's request, The Mr Black App will delete or anonymize Customer Data in our systems, in line with our data retention policy and applicable legal obligations. Customers may contact us to initiate deletion, at which point we will make reasonable efforts to remove all related Customer Data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or contractual obligations.
Data Backup and Restoration
To protect against data loss, The Mr Black App performs regular backups of Customer Data as part of our data protection and security practices. However, these backups are stored in a secure environment and are intended solely for system restoration purposes in the event of a disaster or service interruption. Customer access to these backups is generally not provided, except in special cases where data retrieval is feasible and legally permitted.
Customer Responsibility for Data Accuracy and Compliance
While The Mr Black App maintains data security, customers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data they store within our Service. We encourage customers to maintain current and accurate data to ensure proper functionality and compliance with any regulatory obligations applicable to their use of the Service.
Third-Party Integrations and Data Sharing
If customers use third-party integrations in connection with our Service, The Mr Black App may facilitate data transfer as instructed by the customer. However, customers maintain control over these data-sharing permissions, and we are not responsible for data use or handling by these third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies.
By retaining ownership of their data and being empowered with rights to access, portability, and deletion, customers have full control over their information within our Service.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
